Artist Statement

The ability of painting to reflect life's paradoxes, as well as feelings of energy, tension, strength and sensitivity is what fuels my work. The process of paint being applied in large, energetic and active brush strokes expresses these emotions best.

I am inspired by a life lived traveling throughout Europe, Asia and Africa, in which the cultures, structures, colors and people have served as the muse.
